The colour in this painting has been sealed with UV protectant but it is best to keep this one out of direct sunlight as the intense colours may fade over time. 

Two hares sit under a sky burning with twilight - deep reds, purples, and a trace of blue shadow pooling at the edges. There is a Watership Down echo to this piece, not an exact scene from the book, but a painting shaped by the same wild places.
