Art with hidden fairies that only come alive after dark .
It looks normal enough: a girl, a lantern, in a violet coloured night. But when the lights go out it reveals a group, flock, company? of fairies who have been hiding there all along, glowing faintly as if caught in the act of being mysterious. Which, really they are. This is the first of the series of hidden glow paintings, which only reveal the secret when the lights go out. I'm loving painting these new hidden glow paintings, with deep richly coloured elements on a clean white canvas background.
